How long does it take for a pawn loan to be processed?
A pawn loan is typically processed in as little as 3 minutes! Too busy to visit our stores? Try our online valuation service to get an estimated value of your valuable(s) within 3 business days!
How much interest must I pay for a pawn loan?
MoneyMax offers a low monthly interest rate of 1.5%!
For example, if you took a pawn loan of $200 for 2 months, the Interest Payable would be 1.5% x $200 x 2 months = $6.

What do I need to bring?
Simply bring your valuable along with your Identification Card, passport or foreign document. For any loan amounts above $200, a purchase receipt or guarantor is required.
How do you determine the value of my item?
Our experienced valuers will assess the value of your items based on its precious metal content, quality and condition. You can also have your items valued by our professional gemologist. Call and book an appointment with us now!
Can I pay my interest at other MoneyMax branches?
Yes, you are able to do that! Dedicated to providing maximum convenience to our customers, MoneyMax is pleased to introduce our Inter-Store Renewal Service, which allows customers to pay interest easily at any MoneyMax store islandwide. View our list of outlets here.
What should I do if I lose my pawn ticket?
Customers who lose their pawn ticket can obtain a replacement ticket from us.
Simply visit our store with your identity card to obtain the replacement ticket with a processing fee of $10 dollars for each application.
Are my items insured?
Yes, your valuables are insured from the time you pass them to us and are kept safely in our vault under close supervision.

REDEMPTION
How long can I leave my valuable with you before I redeem it?
It is mandated under the Pawnbroker’s Act, that in the event any pledged collateral should be redeemed within the redemption period of 6 months.
Can I still redeem my item after the pledge expires?
No, customers are unable to redeem their items after the expiry of your pledge.

What is online valuation?
MoneyMax’s online valuation is a new service that allows customers to find out the value of their valuables from the comfort of their homes. Simply fill up an online form and upload a clear photo of your valuable(s). MoneyMax will send you an estimated quote of your asset’s value within 3 working days!
What are the assets you accept?
We accept valuable items ranging from precious metals like gold, diamond jewellery, and luxury timepieces.
Do I still need to go down to the store to take a loan?
Yes, you will still need to visit the store as our valuers are required to inspect and appraise the valuable before disbursing any loans. However, through our convenient online valuation portal, you will be able to get a good estimate of how much your valuables are worth or the estimated loan amount you can receive.
How long will you take to get back to me?
We have a dedicated and efficient team that will get back to you within 3 working days with the best estimated valuation for your item.
What are the details I need to provide in the online valuation form?
All you need to do is fill in basic information like your personal particulars and fill up the online valuation form accordingly. You will also need to upload a clear photo of your valuable. The form should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete and an estimated quote of the asset’s value will be communicated to you within 3 working days.
What is the difference between pawning and selling?
Selling your unworn gold, jewellery and timepieces is a quick way to get cash. However, if the valuable is precious and of great sentimental value to you, pawning the valuable for cash will be a better option. You can use it as a collateral for a pawn loan which you have to redeem within 6 months or serve monthly interest to keep the loan valid for an extended period. When you repay the loan along with the interest, your item will be returned to you.

Are all your pre-owned items authenticated?
Yes, all pre-owned items available at MoneyMax are authentic and have been authenticated by our experienced valuers before being sold at our retail outlets and online shopping platform. Building on our expertise in dealing with gold and gems, we carefully examine and sort the unredeemed pledges according to their condition. Beautiful items or items with a collector’s value will be refurbished to premium condition. Jewellery or luxury timepieces that do not meet our stringent requirements for pre-owned retail collections will be sold to trade dealers.
Are your pre-owned items in good condition?
Yes, MoneyMax only retail pre-owned items that are in unusued or pristine condition. Our pre-owned items are cleaned and restored using our best equipment to make sure our items look as good as new.
Can I reserve the item?
Unfortunately, we do not accept reservations for our items. Be assured that our items have been through vigorous rounds of authentication, cleaning and refurbishment to present these pre-owned items in good condition to our customers. What are the acceptable payment methods?
All payments can be made via credit/debit cards, PayNow, or Bank Transfers.

Yes, we offer free domestic shipping for orders above S$150. For orders under S$150, we charge a flat rate of S$4 for each order.
What is the delivery time?
