- The 1% interest rate is valid if the pledge is redeemed within the first month or renewed monthly.
- For pledges redeemed or renewed in the second month, the interest is 1% for the first month and 1.5% for the second month.
- Applicable only to pledges of $750 and above, and when redeemed or renewed by the pawner.
- Interest is charged on a full-month basis.

- A $2 fee applies to each pawn ticket issued.
- A $10 processing fee applies for each pawn ticket replacement.

How does a pawn loan work?
Unlike traditional banks and financial institutions, which require extensive document checks and salary assessments, pawnbroking provides immediate cash loans within minutes based on the appraisal of your valuables.
What is the processing time for a pawn loan?
The processing time for a pawn loan is typically as quick as five minutes. If you are unable to visit our stores, you can use our online valuation service to receive an estimated value for your items within three business days.
What is the interest rate for a pawn loan?
MoneyMax offers a competitive monthly interest rate of 1.5%.
For example, if you secure a pawn loan of $1,000 for two months, the interest payable would be calculated as follows:
1.5% x $1000 x 2 months = $30
What documents do I need to bring?
Please bring your valuable item along with your identity document (e.g. Identification Card(NRIC/FIN), Passport, or foreign document).
How is the value of my item determined?
Our experienced valuers determine the value of your items based on the precious metal content, quality, and condition. For more specialised assessments, our professional gemologist is available by appointment. Please contact us to schedule a session.
Can i pay my interest online?
Yes, you can use our e-Services App to make online payments via PayNOW or a debit card.
What should I do if I lose my pawn ticket?
If you lose your pawn ticket, you can obtain a replacement by visiting our store with your identity card. Please note that a processing fee of $10 will be charged for each replacement ticket issued.
Are my items insured?
Yes, your valuables are insured from the moment they are handed over to us and securely stored in our vault under strict supervision.
