Terms & Conditions
MoneyMax Jewellery Pte. Ltd (‘MoneyMax’), shall offer its loyalty membership known as MoneyMax Rewards (‘Program’) upon the terms and conditions as listed below (‘Terms & Conditions’) to each member of the Program
(a ‘Member’).
The submission of a duly signed application for membership at any MoneyMax outlet in Singapore is deemed to be an acceptance of the following Terms & Conditions.
The Program membership and Members’ entitlement to benefits and privileges under the Program, including the redemption of any benefits and privileges, shall be in accordance with the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Eligibility and MoneyMax Rewards Membership
- Participation in the Program is open to all individuals aged 18 and above;
- To become a Member, individuals must sign up for MoneyMax Rewards at any participating MoneyMax Jewellery stores.
- The applicant must provide his/her current, complete and accurate personal particulars as requested;
- The applicant may be required to produce his/her identity document for verification purposes in connection with the application;
- The applicant represents and warrants that all information provided by him/her in connection with his/her application are accurate;
- The applicant acknowledges and agrees that the acceptance of his/her application is subject to the approval of MoneyMax at its sole and absolute discretion that his/her application may be rejected by MoneyMax without assigning any reasons thereto;
- Upon approval of an application, a MoneyMax Rewards membership account shall be opened for the Member, and the Member shall be entitled to participate in the Program and enjoy membership benefits and privileges under the Program;
- The Program membership and its associated benefits and privileges are for the Member’s sole enjoyment and shall not be transferable. MoneyMax reserves the right to vary, amend and modify the benefits and privileges and these Terms & Conditions of the Program at its sole and absolute discretion without prior written notice;
- Each Member can only register for one MoneyMax Rewards membership account, and it is non-transferable;
- Unless otherwise terminated in accordance with these Terms & Conditions, the Program membership shall be valid for such period determined by MoneyMax at the time of application;
- The Member may only enjoy his/her MoneyMax Rewards membership benefits at participating MoneyMax outlets. The MoneyMax Rewards membership shall not be valid at any other outlets unless determined otherwise by MoneyMax;
2. Membership Rewards and Redemption
MoneyMax Rewards Points
- The Member shall be entitled to earn points known as ‘MoneyMax Rewards Points’ for the total purchase of new jewellery items at MoneyMax retail stores as specified by the point structure outlined in the program. The program is not applicable for the purchase of gold bars/coins and/or preowned jewellery, bags and watches.;
- MoneyMax Rewards Points will be awarded only to Members who provide their membership information to the retail staff upon payment at participating outlets. Members who fail to do so shall not be entitled to earn any MoneyMax Rewards Points into their MoneyMax Rewards account for that transaction;
- The MoneyMax Rewards Points accumulated by the Member will be instantly credited into their account;
- MoneyMax shall have the sole discretion to deduct, cancel or reject/refuse to award MoneyMax Rewards Points for any transaction which are doubtful or not genuine or deduct, cancel, or reject to award MoneyMax Rewards Points that have been wrongfully recorded
Points Redemption
- The MoneyMax Rewards Points earned and accumulated by the Member from:
- January – June, will expire on 30 June on the following year;
- July – December, will expire on 31 December on the following year.
- Members may redeem accumulated points to offset spending during their subsequent transactions at the following rate: 10 points = $1;
- The MoneyMax Rewards Points accumulated by the Member will be instantly credited into their account;
- Points are not transferable between members and cannot be exchanged for cash;
- MoneyMax reserves the right to modify the points structure, reward offerings and redemption policies at its discretion, with prior notice to Members
Instant Rewards
- Members will also be entitled to receive Instant Rewards which are rewards offered during campaign periods within the year. Members can redeem these rewards by spending a minimum amount (determined by the campaign) at the respective outlets;
- All instant rewards are subject to availability and are available on a first-come, first-served basis;
- The redemption of Instant Rewards will not cause any MoneyMax Rewards Points to be deducted from the Member’s account
MoneyMax Rewards Membership Account
- Once any MoneyMax Rewards Points have been utilised, such MoneyMax Rewards Points cannot be refunded or transferred back into the Member’s MoneyMax Rewards Membership Account;
- The Member agrees and acknowledges that his/her MoneyMax Rewards Membership Account and any MoneyMax Rewards Points may only be used by the Member who have registered the account;
- MoneyMax Rewards Points accumulated under different MoneyMax Rewards Membership Accounts are non-transferable and cannot be combined;
- Members can enquire their MoneyMax Rewards Points balance at any of MoneyMax outlets;
- The Member may notify MoneyMax of any dispute on the MoneyMax Rewards Points by email to enquiry@moneymax.com.sg
3. Personal Data Protection
- The Member hereby agrees and consents that the personal data collected for the purposes of creating a membership account, together with information relating to, or any particulars of, the Member’s redemption transactions and any other information or data collected relating to, or derived from, the Member’s profile may be held in a secure database system managed by MoneyMax and/or a data intermediary on behalf of MoneyMax;
- By enrolling in the Program, members consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for the purpose of administering the Program;
- Notifications may be provided via letters, phone calls, SMS, WhatsApp and/or emails to the Member;
- The Member consents and authorises MoneyMax and/or its data intermediary to collect and/or use and/or process his/her information in accordance with MoneyMax Privacy Policy;
- The Member also consents and authorises MoneyMax and/or its data intermediary to disclose his/her information to the following entities for the following purposes:
- MoneyMax Jewellery Pte Ltd and their associate companies (‘MoneyMax Group’);
- Third party vendors and/or service providers (such as sub-contractors, agents or network operators) who are employed to perform business, support, operational and/or functions such as marketing, payment, fulfilment and delivery or orders;
- Merchants and third parties with whom MoneyMax conducts joint marketing and/or cross-promotions and who provide benefits or rewards under the Program; or
- MoneyMax or MoneyMax Group’s professional advisors (such as auditors or lawyers).
- The Member acknowledges that certain of the above entities may be located outside Singapore. Where this is the case, the Member consents and authorises the transfer of his/her information overseas from time to time. MoneyMax shall carry out such transfers in accordance with relevant data protection laws. MoneyMax may also disclose his/her information as permitted or required by law.
- The Member may at any time request from MoneyMax for the Member’s Information in the possession or under the control of MoneyMax and for any information about the ways in which personal data may have been used or disclosed in the past (1) year from the date of request.
- In respect of any change in the Member’s Information, the Member shall immediately:
- notify MoneyMax of the change in particulars in writing at updateparticulars@moneymax.com.sg;
- be personally present at any MoneyMax outlets to update the Member’s Information
- For the purposes of verifying and updating the Member’s Information, the Member shall without delay furnish evidence or proof of the Member’s change in personal particulars to MoneyMax directly via email or to the retail staff at any MoneyMax outlet.
- MoneyMax shall take all practicable steps to update the Member’s Information within thirty (30) working days of receipt of the written notification provided that MoneyMax is satisfied that there are reasonable grounds for the update of the Member’s Information and MoneyMax shall not be liable for any losses or damages that may be suffered by the Member arising either directly or indirectly from MoneyMax’s delay in updating the Member’s Information in the event that MoneyMax is not satisfied on reasonable grounds that any written request for the update to the Member’s Information is valid and acceptable to MoneyMax in its sole discretion.
- The Member may at any time withdraw his/her consent to the collection, processing and use of his/her Information by giving MoneyMax prior written notice of such withdrawal of consent. The Member may contact MoneyMax for such purposes at enquiry@moneymax.com.sg. The Member agrees and acknowledges that if the Member withdraws his/her consent to the collection, processing and the use of his/her Information, MoneyMax will not be able to administer the Member’s benefits and privileges under the Programme and/or send Member Alerts. Upon any such withdrawal of consent, the Member’s entitlement to participate in the Programme shall terminate in accordance with the below:
- Within thirty (30) working days of MoneyMax’s receipt of the Member’s written notice of withdrawal of consent, the Member’s Programme membership and entitlement to benefits and privileges under the Programme shall terminate in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. Upon termination, MoneyMax shall be released and discharged from any further obligations to the Member.
- If the Member withdraws his/her consent and/or terminates his/her Membership at any time and for any reason, all unused MoneyMax Rewards Points shall automatically be cancelled and no longer be available for use by the Member. Upon such termination, the Member’s MoneyMax Rewards Membership Account shall cease to be valid with immediate effect and the Member shall also immediately cease to be entitled to any other benefits and privileges under the Program.
4. Promotional Materials
- Upon submitting the application for the Program, the Member may opt in to receive Promotional Materials. If the Member opts in to receive Promotional Materials the Member acknowledges, agrees, and consents that his/her Information may be used for the purposes of sending him/her Promotional Materials.
- If the Member subsequently chooses not to receive Promotional Materials, the Member shall notify MoneyMax by prior written notice and within thirty (30) working days of MoneyMax’s receipt of the Member’s written notice, MoneyMax will cease sending Promotional Materials to the Member.
- The Member shall not hold MoneyMax and the Merchants liable for any losses or damages that may be suffered by the Member arising either directly or indirectly from delay or non-receipt of the Promotional Materials or error in the Promotional Materials, if any.
5. Termination
- The Member may terminate his/her membership at any time by giving MoneyMax fourteen (14) working days’ notice in writing.
- MoneyMax may at its absolute discretion, without prior notice to the Member, suspend or terminate the Program (in whole or in part) for any reason whatsoever as it deems fit, including but not limited to doubtful or non-genuine activity. MoneyMax also has the absolute discretion to immediately bar, terminate, change, suspend or cancel the membership or impose additional conditions on the usage of the App. Any failure or delay in taking such actions shall not constitute a waiver of its rights to enforce these Terms & Conditions.
- If the Program is suspended or terminated for whatever reason, MoneyMax shall not be liable to the Members for any losses or damages suffered or that may be suffered by the Member arising either directly or indirectly from the suspension or termination of the Program.
6. Indemnity
- The Member hereby agrees to indemnify, release and discharge MoneyMax and its authorised agents from all damages, claims, demands, liabilities, judgments, actions and suits and agrees to hold MoneyMax and its authorised agents harmless against any liability for any loss, penalty, damage, costs and expenses (including but not limited to legal costs) which the Member may incur by reason of or arising either directly or indirectly from or in connection with the Member’s use of the App and/or any other participation in the Program.
7. Other Terms
- MoneyMax may notify the Member of changes in the Terms & Conditions by publishing such changes via website, email or by such other means of communication as MoneyMax may determine in its absolute discretion from time to time.
- By participating in the Programme, all Members agree to be bound by the Terms & Conditions herein and all amendments, additions, replacements, and modifications as may be made by MoneyMax from time to time.
- These Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of Singapore and the Member hereby submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
By enrolling in the MoneyMax Rewards Program, members acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
